Salah Muhumed is a filmmaker based in Portland, OR who specializes in videography, photography, and editing.
First picking up a camera in 2020, Salah began by recording his elder brother’s comedy skits. By November 2023, inspired by reading Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer, Salah made the bold decision to pivot entirely toward his passion—storytelling.
He began his career in 2023, working as a freelance videographer & photographer creating sports mixtapes. Since then, he has worked with companies like NIKE, HOKA, Al-JAZEERA, RUNNERSPACE, and many more.
Salah holds a deep-rooted passion for his community- If he is not doing homework, reading, writing, or editing, you will catch him at a community event, documenting the stories untold.
His life passion is creating work that resonates. He lives by the mantra " To BE is to create." Salah believes we all create in our own unique ways.
